ITG Communications Expands Engineering Capabilities with Acquisition of Quasar

Fort Lauderdale, FL — December 2025 — ITG Communications, LLC, a national turnkey provider of engineering, construction, fulfillment, and operational services, announces it has acquired Quasar, a global engineering and network design firm with operations in North America and Europe.

Founded in 1997, Quasar has grown from a small family-run firm into a well-established engineering organization known for its disciplined growth, technical rigor, and long-standing partnerships with major MSOs. With approximately 600 employees across offices in Atlanta, Georgia and Warsaw, Poland, Quasar supports large-scale broadband and infrastructure programs through a comprehensive suite of engineering and design services.

Quasar provides engineering and design services supporting broadband and infrastructure programs, including feasibility studies, detailed design and drafting, and project management. Its capabilities span land base preparation, outside and inside plant surveys, pole audits, and comprehensive network design for both large-scale rural broadband initiatives and business-as-usual programs across HFC, FTTx, and RFoG architectures. Quasar also delivers permitting services across a full range of jurisdictions, post-construction as-built updates and address reconciliation, electric vehicle charging station design, and specialized programming services such as CAD-to-GIS data conversions and custom tool development.

With this acquisition, Quasar’s employees and capabilities are fully incorporated into ITG, strengthening ITG’s ability to deliver end-to-end turnkey solutions.

“This acquisition represents a major milestone in ITG’s evolution as a turnkey provider,” said Guilherme Elias, President of ITG Communications. “By bringing Quasar’s engineering, design, and permitting expertise in-house, we complete a critical pillar of our service model and enhance our ability to support customers across the full project lifecycle.”

“Quasar’s depth of experience and reputation for quality align perfectly with ITG’s long-term strategy,” said Mike Brooks, CEO of ITG Communications. “This acquisition strengthens our engineering capabilities and allows us to better serve our customers—from early planning and design through construction, fulfillment, and ongoing operations.”

“Quasar was built on a commitment to quality, precision, and partnership,” said Bogdan Lomnicki, Founder and Chief Advisory Officer of Quasar. “Joining ITG enables our team to apply that commitment within a truly turnkey organization. Together, we are well positioned to support the growing complexity of modern broadband and infrastructure programs.”
